Iranian children and young adults have gained several medals in the latest run of International Children’s Painting Competition in Japan.
A total of 19,987 pieces from 58 countries attended the event themed on agriculture, farmlands, nature, environment, people and family.
Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults coordinated a group of Iranian artists at young ages who gained gold, silver and bronze medals as well as diplomas of honour.
Among the Iranian winners, Milad Mikaeili, 12 and Mohammad-Matin Vahidi, 13 have grabbed gold medals with diplomas of honour.
Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults had sent 1,300 paintings to the competition.
